We’re counting down to the Dublin Whiskey Festival, which takes place from Monday, August 14 right through to Sunday, August 10 in various venues around Dublin City. The festival will feature many of the world’s top whisky writers and bloggers, including Ian Buxton, Dominic Roskrow, Gavin D. Smith, Anne Sophie Bigot and Suzanne Redmond.

Introduction to Whisky
An introduction to Whisky with Rachel McCormack & Suzanne Redmond. Rachel is the author of “Chasing The Dram – Finding the Spirit of Whisky”. Suzanne is the features editor of The Cask Magazine. Rachel and Suzanne with be featuring 4 different Scotch’s during the evening.
Whiskeys of Midleton
Join us for this event during which we will explore the beautiful liquids produced at the Midleton Distillery with Midleton’s Gerard Garland.
At this Dublin Whiskey Festival event – Gerard will present many drams from the Midleton Distillery – all the drinks at this event are being kept secret until the event – expect a surprise or two! This is a unique event and should not be missed.
Join Dublin Whiskey Tours at ‘Irish Whiskey Reinvented’
At the Dublin Whiskey Festival, Dublin Whiskey Tours, in partnership with the Irish Whiskey Magazine and The Rag Trader Bar, will hold a special night of Irish Whiskey tasting and food sampling entitled ‘Irish Whiskey Reinvented’ on Tuesday, August 15 in Dublin city centre.
We will be tasting a minimum of six incredible Irish drams along with some mouth-watering food. The night will also include a special blind
tasting, two cocktails from Prizefighter and Slane, and a Teeling Irish Coffee. You will also enjoy some whiskey-inspired music and garnered some great knowledge from our guest’s speakers on the night.
The event will include:
– A minimum of six Irish whiskeys
– A selection of cheeses from Sheridan’s Cheese to pair with on the evening
– Handmade chocolates by Cocoa Atelier– Live music with whiskey-inspired lyrics
– Two specially made cocktails by Prizefighter and Slane Distillery
– One Irish Coffee containing one of Teeling’s great spirits.
– Guest expert speakers
Tickets cost €25 and are limited to 35 places so booking early is advised.
